hey,

Van de week kreeg ik het blad paard en co weer binnen. Er staat een stukje in over gezond en fit buitenrijden van Carmen Romer (NL kampioen endurance) Ze schrijft ook een stukje over de conditie van de ruiter:
"Paarden hebben last van een te zware berijder op hun rug. Ze moeten moeite doen om hun evenwicht te blijven bewaren. Afvallen is dus noodzakelijk. Heb je overgewicht en niet de ambitie om af te vallen, dan kun je voor een oersterk paardenras als de merens of de fjord kiezen.

Ik vond het wel grappig. Het oersterke merensje!

Grappig zeg, nu als we dus enkel op de merems zouden rijden hoeven we niet meer aan de lijn!
Altijd fijn te weten.
Alluwel ik denk dat ze het zeker wel aankunnen het nooit fijn is een erg zware ruite op de rug te hebben kan nooit veel goeds doen.
Maar aan de andere kant beter een ruiter die een beetje zwaarder is en kan rijden dan iemand die steeds zit te bonken en in de mond zit te trekken!
