Het Merens artikel uit Landleven gelezen..ik kreeg het blad onverwacht en heb genoten.
Er stond in het artikel dat een Merens kopen in Frankrijk onverdelig zou zijn gezien het prijskaartje van de vervoerskosten. Ik vond de vervoer skosten van Hercule naar Frankrijk erg meevallen. Ik kreeg te horen dat het waarschijnlijk rond de E 400,-- was afhankelijk van het aantal paarden. Ik had geluk dat veel paarden naar Frankrijk gingen zodat ik uiteindelijk E 300,-- heb betaald. Daarvoor werd Hercule opgehaald. Ging naar Limburg waar hij een goede stal kreeg. Vervolgens naar Frankrijk waar hij 's nachts ook met alle paarden stalrust heeft gehad. Onderweg wordt gestopt om de paarden te laten eten en drinken. Allemaal dus goed verzorgd. Hij stapte dan ook zo fris als een hoentje en vrolijk bij Annebel het erf op. Gezien het feit dat in Frankrijk de prijzen van de Merens wat lager liggen als in Nederland ben je ongeveer even duur uit. Let wel....ik pleit niet voor het kopen van een paard in Frankrijk, alles heeft zijn voor en zijn tegens.
